Advisory and Litigation

Legal
Advisory

We meet companies’ day-to-day legal needs through an ongoing advisory relationship and manage risks before they turn into disputes.

We do not see legal advisory merely as support that answers questions as they arise. Our aim is to build an ongoing, strategic relationship that helps our clients conduct their business in a legally secure, predictable and sustainable way. Identifying legal risks at the earliest stage, preventing disputes before they arise and supporting commercial decisions with timely legal guidance lie at the heart of this approach.

Where a dispute arises despite preventive measures, we manage the process as a whole, from the first negotiations and settlement talks through to litigation, enforcement and other remedies. At this stage our goal is to develop result-oriented solutions suited to the nature of the dispute that protect both the legal and the commercial interests of our client.

Our advisory service covers every area of law a company may need in the course of its business, in particular commercial law, corporate law, the law of obligations and contracts, employment law, enforcement and bankruptcy law, technology and R&D legislation, intellectual and industrial property law and international trade law.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions on legal advisory

What clients most often ask before starting monthly advisory.

What does monthly legal advisory cover?

It covers the regular handling of legal needs that arise in the company’s day-to-day business: drafting and reviewing contracts, employment law matters, board and general meeting procedures, formal notices, and support in meetings and negotiations with third parties. The details of the scope are set according to the company’s needs.

How does monthly advisory differ from work on a matter-by-matter basis?

On a matter-by-matter basis, each issue is handled separately. In monthly advisory, a team that knows the company, its contracts and how it works is engaged on an ongoing basis. Risks are spotted earlier, questions are answered faster and legal costs become predictable.

Are litigation and enforcement proceedings included in monthly advisory?

Monthly advisory focuses on preventing disputes before they arise. When a dispute does arise, we also handle negotiation, litigation and enforcement; the scope and fees for these are set separately according to the nature of the matter.

How is the advisory service delivered?

Alongside written opinions and document work, we provide online meetings, on-site meetings at the company and lawyer attendance at negotiations with third parties, as needed. The service is also available in English.

Do you advise individuals?

No. We provide our legal advisory services only to companies, and we support them on any matter connected with their business.
