About

Nihan Şefkatlioğlu is a senior associate in SCH-Legal’s Advisory and Litigation & Enforcement departments. She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 2019, completed her legal traineeship at the Bursa Bar Association, began practising in 2020 and joined SCH-Legal in 2022. She advises Turkish and international individuals and legal entities, mainly on commercial law, employment law, contract law and the law of obligations.

Her main areas of work include preventive legal advice, company incorporations, mergers, demergers and conversions, capital increases and decreases, investment rounds, the institutionalisation of family businesses, shareholders’ agreements and family constitutions. She also drafts and negotiates national and international commercial agreements such as purchase, cooperation, carriage, confidentiality, services and distribution agreements, and is involved in general assembly and board resolution processes as well as litigation and dispute resolution. She is a member of the SCH-Legal AI Group, which works on integrating artificial intelligence into legal practice.
